Ok well yday i couldnt b bothered to update properly -it was quite a long day!
Got up for Whisky's 6am walk with my stepmum and got back home feeling worn out while Whisky seemed like she'd only walked for five minutes! We got back about half seven and the sun was just coming up over the hills.
Went down to the dive centre about half 9 and Dad, Ann and i hired some kit and went out to Sea Caves. Set up my kit with a little bit of help. We we under water about 3 quarters of an hour and i only used 100bar of air which is pretty good for a novice although the maximum depth was only 7.2m so we werent expecting to use that much. Unfortunately Dad's reg freeflowed when he got in the water so he only started on 190 bar (instead of 200-210) and he surfaced with 30. Dad was navigating but we didnt realise there was a bit of a current and we were carried past our exit point and had to swim back which was pretty tiring. Dad took his underwater camera but it is hard to keep it still enough to take a photo so we didnt take many. My first dive without an instructor went comparatively well tho :)
After we washed all the kit out back at the dive centre we headed home for lunch. Whisky was ecstatic to see us -i feel really mean wanting to do things where we can't take her with us cuz she hates being left on her own. She always gets a fuss made of her when we get home tho.
In the evening we went out with the walking group. It was Dad and Ann's walk to they had to lead it. The scenery was very pretty and, although hard work, it was a nice walk. We got back to the tavern we started from and were settling down for a meze. There was wine included in the price and the owner had put carafes on the table. Unfortunately the woman who lives near us (who was sitting close to me at the time) took one gulp of the wine and got a wasp as well which promptly stung her on the tongue and made it swell up so she had to b rushed to hospital by one of the group. Id nearly been stung before the walk but the wasp jst bit me or something and i screeched so loudly that i gave the wasp (and everyone in the tavern) a bit of a heart-attack. Other than that the meze was very nice!
Got home about 10 and was very tired so checked my emails quickly and uploaded those photos and then went to bed. I wanted to read some of my book but i didnt get very far!
Before yday: Astrid (the lady who gave Whisk to Dad) came to stay on Fri afternoon so we didnt get anything done that day as we were clearing up the house etc and then didnt hav time to start nething. She was sposed to jst be staying the night but she ended up staying till Sun so we didnt do much. Went out on a glass bottomed boat yday but to b honest i enjoyed the snorkelling we did half way thru the trip more than looking through the glass as you couldnt see much. Saw quite a bit when we snorkelled -Dad found a squid/cuttlefish and i saw and odd fish hiding in the sand -some sort of Goby i think. Anyway i think Dad and Ann jst got back from Greek so im off to say hi.
